I couldn’t recommend James any more! He was absolutely fantastic - we got married at Stratton Court Barn in May and have just had our final video back (ahead of predicted timescale)! We can’t stop watching it, it’s so special to have the entire day captured so perfectly. On the day, James put us both at ease, being there more as a friend than as videographer, we cannot thank him enough. We also received our trailer video just a couple of days after our wedding which was absolutely perfect as we got to watch it whilst on our minimoon. Where do we possibly start? James is absolutely incredible. We are so unbelievably grateful for his talent but also his amazing energy on our wedding day - we were sad when he left! James gives so much attention to detail and you can tell from the meetings beforehand that he really wants to make everything personal to you as a couple. James was effortless on our wedding day and made us feel so comfortable. And the videos…! The highlight video came to us so quickly and was a beautiful snippet of our magical day which we were able to share with so many of our friends and family. And then the feature film, wow! It is incredible how a video can just capture all the amazing moments and emotions of the day so beautifully. We still cry every time we watch them! James’ video’s are so clever how they are put together and he picks up on things that you don’t notice on the day which was so special. We cannot recommend James Fox highly enough! From the moment he arrived on our wedding day (10.06.26), James was exactly what we were looking for in a videographer. He has such a relaxed, easy-going nature that immediately put us at ease. There was never any pressure to stop what we were doing or stress about getting specific shots. Instead, he simply went with the flow of the day, allowing everything to happen naturally and authentically. Half the time we barely even knew he was there, yet somehow he managed to capture all of our most special moments perfectly. He worked quietly in the background, documenting the day as it unfolded without ever feeling intrusive. What we particularly loved was how open he was to our own ideas. He listened to what was important to us and thoughtfully incorporated those ideas into our wedding film, making it feel incredibly personal. We also received our highlight video very quickly, and we were completely blown away by it. Watching it brought both us and our family to tears. James captured the emotion, joy and love of the day so beautifully, giving us memories that we will cherish forever. Thank you, James, for creating something so special. If you’re reading this and other reviews and thinking of booking James there is only one option, DO IT!! Booking James as our wedding videographer for our wedding at Cooling Castle Barn on 5th October 2025 was genuinely one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning. From our very first conversation, James was incredible. In the lead-up to the wedding, his communication, advice and reassurance were second to none. He always made us feel like we were his only couple, despite knowing how busy he is, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Every question was answered thoughtfully, and his experience helped us feel calm, prepared and excited for the day ahead. On the wedding day itself, James was everything we could have hoped for. He was so friendly, bubbly, professional and incredibly easy to be around. Somehow, he managed to capture every important moment without ever feeling intrusive, blending seamlessly into the day while making everyone feel completely comfortable. It honestly felt like having another friend there celebrating with us rather than someone simply doing a job. When we received our wedding film, we were completely blown away and can we mention, we received it while in the middle of Milan on our honeymoon only a few days later which made things so much more exciting! Every time we watch it, we fall in love with both the film and the day all over again. Being able to relive the day through the eyes of our family and friends, seeing the little moments we missed, the reactions, laughter and emotions, is something we’ll treasure forever. James didn’t just capture how our wedding looked – he captured exactly how it felt, and that’s something truly priceless. We promised him on the morning of the wedding it would not be a boring experience with us and it certainly wasn’t in return! If you’re considering booking James, don’t hesitate. You’re not only getting an incredibly talented videographer and a beautiful wedding film, but also someone who genuinely cares about your day and goes above and beyond to make the whole experience unforgettable. James (Fox Films) captured our wedding day in December and we couldn’t recommend him more highly. From the very start, communication was clear, friendly, and reassuring, and on the day itself he was an absolute pleasure to have around — good fun, relaxed, and someone who instantly put us at ease. He worked brilliantly alongside our photographer (Nicola Dawson Photography - check her out too!) and blended into the day so naturally. The highlights film we've received so far is incredible - and James turned it around incredibly fast. He captured so many special moments and genuine reactions from our family and friends that we might otherwise have missed, and watching them back has been incredibly emotional. We were also so impressed that he managed to get beautiful drone footage despite challenging weather with high winds and rain — above and beyond what we expected. The website for viewing and sharing the videos is extremely professional and easy to use too, a wonderful extra touch, which has made reliving the day and sharing it with loved ones a real joy. Wow, wow, WOW!! Booking James as our wedding videographer was honestly one of the best decisions we made for our whole wedding. We had an initial call with him before booking and just knew straight away he was the one to capture our day. Even though my (husband…sayyy whaa?!... still not used to saying that 😂) wasn’t too keen on being in front of the camera, James completely put us at ease from the start. He explained his relaxed, non-intrusive style so well and gave us loads of reassurance, exactly the kind of hype and calm energy you need! Closer to the day, we had our final meeting to go through timelines. With James’ experience and guidance, this was so easy and actually helped shape the flow of the day around the key moments we wanted captured. On the day itself, James was amazing. Always in the right place at exactly the right time, working seamlessly with the other suppliers and never getting in the way. Everything felt so relaxed, and he made everyone feel completely comfortable. You honestly wouldn’t have known it was his first time filming at our venue, his eye for lighting, angles, and moments was unreal. By the end, it genuinely felt like he was part of the guest list! One of our favourite touches was his suggestion of a Nosecco spray in the evening, it just sums up the kind of videographer James is, fun, creative, and thinking ahead. The footage (and photos!) from that moment are incredible, although I think the boys might need a lesson in how to spray it properly next time 🤣 We got our teaser video back so quickly it felt like a blink after the wedding, and WOW… we were blown away. We watched it over and over again it really felt like reliving the whole day. Seeing moments we missed, all the laughter, reactions, and little details… it’s something we’ll treasure forever. James didn’t just capture what the day looked like, he captured exactly how it felt. And then came the full film… WOW WOW WOW all over again. The attention to detail, the little moments, the way everything was put together, just incredible. Watching it with family and seeing their reactions has been so special. There have been a lot of big smiles! If you’re even thinking about booking James, just do it. Honestly, don’t hesitate. And to any future husbands/wives saying “I don’t want to be on camera”… ignore them 😂 James’ style is so natural and relaxed, you won’t even notice it, and you’ll end up with the most amazing video to look back on for years. There truly aren’t enough words to describe the talent that James possesses. From our very first video call, he was easygoing, professional and completely invested in us. He has such a special way of making you feel like you’re the only people in the world getting married, building a genuine connection that makes you wish you were all friends! The meeting before the wedding, following his incredibly detailed questionnaire (which genuinely covers everything you could possibly think of), was so thorough yet relaxed, and it built so much excitement for the day. We actually missed our initial meeting due to a broken toilet and full-on wedding brain taking over, but James was so understanding and kindly rescheduled without making us feel an ounce of guilt. On the day itself, James brought the most amazing energy. He kept everything feeling calm and positive, even through any unexpected stresses, while still capturing everything so naturally. He blended in so seamlessly, like a guest, yet somehow managed to capture all the key moments as well as so many beautiful ones we would have otherwise missed. We received our highlights within just a few days, which was incredible, and we are SO excited for the full feature film, we could burst! James, you are amazing! From the moment we met you at Long Crendon wedding fair, we just knew we had to have you film our special day! We instantly hit it off and felt in safe hands. We always knew we wanted our day caught on film as you get to relive every single moment, moments you forgot happened or didn’t get to see being the bride and groom! James always knew how to get the best shot, but in a relaxed natural way, candid and raw! We cry every time we watch our films, we opted for the full ceremony and speeches, best decision we made! James is the most wonderful Videographer and we’re so thrilled that we chose him to capture our dream wedding at Babington House in December 2025. He is beyond talented and is a wonderful person to have as part of your wedding celebrations and capturing all those special moments. Even when we tasked James with a winter wedding and late afternoon sunset ceremony he rose to the challenge superbly and had created the most sublime wedding video we could of ever hoped for! My now husband was unsure whether we needed a videographer and he was worried it would feel too staged on the day and take away from the really meaning of the wedding day. But he needed to have worried as James blends in effortlessly and you have know idea he’s capturing all the little moments and then you receive your highlights film and it’s just breathtaking! We’re beyond thrilled to have chosen James as our wedding videographer and to have a breathtaking videos to cherish and look back on over the coming years.
