Oxfordshire Wedding Videographer
Cinematic & Natural Wedding Videography in Oxfordshire
Welcome to Fox Films! I’m James and I’m an Oxfordshire wedding videographer based in Thame.
Thanks for visiting my website, and more specifically this ‘Oxfordshire wedding videographer’ page that’s specifically tailored for you, a couple getting married in Oxfordshire! Well, I used to work in marketing so these skills do come in handy!
Rest assured, everything you read and watch on this page isn’t recycled and has been created specifically for you and your wedding in Oxfordshire!
Let me begin with a huge congratulations on your engagement!
I hope you’re enjoying everything ‘wedding planning’ so far! As a wedding videographer, I’m usually either first or last to be picked as a wedding supplier – and I absolutely don’t mind when I get picked! However, my diary for 2023 and 2024 are beginning to fill, so I do recommend you get in touch sooner rather than later.
A Bit About Me
This isn’t a career I’ve fallen into, I absolutely love being an Oxfordshire wedding videographer and pride myself on producing cinematic, documentary-style wedding films for my couples to look back on for a lifetime.
I’m getting married myself in 2023, so I’m in the same boat as you at the moment. Although, I’ve been told to tell you all that my wonderful partner Zoë is doing most of the work.
You can find out more about weddings I’ve filmed in and around Oxford and Oxfordshire below and the package that I offer. But if you are keen to chat to me without reading on, please do get in touch with me by tapping the button below!
This is me!

Wedding Film Portfolio
Take a look at just a few examples of wedding videography in Oxfordshire.
As my portfolio builds, more examples will be added in the coming months including films showcasing weddings at numerous Oxfordshire wedding venues.
Oxfordshire Wedding Videographer
You have already taken the first step to find your videographer for your Oxfordshire wedding!
Let me help you understand how I'll film your big day.
Wedding Videography Style
My style and approach to Oxfordshire wedding videography (in fact all wedding filmmaking regardless of location), is to do so in a natural, candid, and documentary style.
Rather than staging shots, my candid approach allows me to capture the finer details of your Oxfordshire venue, and the special moments and emotions at your wedding.
Wedding Videography Equipment
My wedding videography equipment is professional, yet entirely unintrusive. Gone are the days of using huge cameras (how it used to be when I did this over a decade ago), which means I can integrate rather than intrude on you or your guests throughout the day. More often than not, people don’t even realise I’m filming!
I work with all of my couples getting married in Oxfordshire (and beyond) before their wedding with a free wedding videography chat. This is a really important step to go through my approach in more detail, discuss your day and find out more about you so I can tailor my wedding videography approach to suit you.
To get a flavour of my wedding videography style, check our my wedding film gallery where you’ll be able to watch a selection of my work.
Beautiful Oxfordshire Wedding Venues
OK, so I might be biased as I live here, but filming weddings in Oxfordshire is just incredible.
I’ve been lucky enough to have been asked to be an Oxfordshire wedding videographer at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Primrose Hill Farm, Notley Tythe Barn, Notley Abbey, and Isis River Farmhouse to name but a few. Check out my blog on some of the best Oxfordshire wedding venues I’ve filmed at.
However, it’s not just these stunning venues that make being an Oxfordshire wedding videographer so exciting. I find so much quality content in the surroundings of Oxfordshire itself including jaw-dropping countryside vistas and of course, central Oxford itself!
All of this, combined with the wonderful couples I work with makes for a stunning finished wedding film. You won’t be disappointed!
To keep things simple, I offer an all-encompassing wedding videography package, which includes comprehensive coverage of your wedding day, from your morning preparations to your first dance and beyond.
I strive to capture the essence of your story and the emotions of your wedding day through my cinematography skills, storytelling techniques, and editing style. You can rest assured that every precious moment will be documented and preserved for you to cherish for a lifetime.
I offer a couple of add-ons for those looking for even more from their wedding film coverage. The majority of these can be added on at any time, even after your wedding day!
Where many videographers have pages on their website offering Oxfordshire wedding videography, I am actually located in the county in Thame! Funnily enough, if I walked for about 20 minutes in one direction, I’d actually be in Buckinghamshire!
I film weddings both locally here in Oxfordshire and in neighbouring counties including Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hertfordshire, Warwickshire, Bedfordshire & Surrey. If for some reason you’ve ended up here and you’re not in Oxfordshire I’m also happy to travel further, so please get in touch.
You will get your one-minute highlight film between 1-2 weeks after your wedding (hopefully sooner!)
The feature film may take between 8-12 weeks depending on time of year. I of course keep you informed throughout the process and if I need a bit more time, I will let you know as soon as possible.
As part of the editing process, I will select the music for your film to reflect the vibe of your wedding video. It is an integral part of the editing process that I select from a licensed library of music, and largely dictates and reflects the end result of the video.
Due to copyright law, we can’t use Michael Bublé or anything else commercially released. However, the music I use is professional quality and trust me, you’ll be Adele’d and Bublé’d out after your wedding anyway!
I’m always happy to hear suggestions from you of any particular style you’d like to capture. I can also send you a list of tracks for you to choose from.
Simply get in touch with me and I will arrange a suitable time with you to have a video call and discuss you wedding videography requirements.
All I’d require once you’re happy to go ahead is a £300 deposit upon booking and the remaining balance six weeks before your wedding day.
I believe in capturing the moments of natural beauty rather than directing you into place. The natural reactions of you, your families and friends are the ones that you will look back upon and relive those intense emotions for years to come.
No one wants to look back at a forced, uncomfortable pose! But hey, if you want to pretend to be a character from The Avengers, go for it – I may just keep it in (or most likely leave it out)!
Boring bit… but yes, I hold all necessary public liability insurance. I can supply all certification to you or the venue directly once our booking is confirmed.
